postcolonial is a curatorial shop for Southeast Asian fashion and design, bringing together designers from the region and from the diaspora to a home in New York City.

We are deeply inspired by two other projects also rooted in New York: TUMBAO, the largest curation of Latin American fashion in the world, and Society of Cloth, home of contemporary South Asian design. Coming from Southeast Asia ourselves, we want to create a space to celebrate Southeast Asian design voices and talents.

The plan, ambitiously: a pop-up this September during NYFW, marketing Southeast Asian brands to the North American audience, and a physical storefront by the end of 2027.
